(The production opened April 28th, 1976 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City and ran for 116 performances before going on the road.) ….. Based on the life of EMILY DICKINSON, the one-character play starred JULIE HARRIS (shown in the cover photo) ….. Note: JULIE HARRIS was honored with her fourth Tony Award for “Best Actress in a Play” for this role ….. CONDITION: With the exception of a creased corner at the bottom right, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian.
